My Lil' Heroes & Batik Painting

A holiday wouldn't be complete without any s-h-o-p-p-i-n-g, right? FYI, my DH strongly disagrees with me on that notion. However, when we were in Cherating, DH was the one who suggested that we should grab some souvenirs before heading home! Hahaha...I am still not sure if he was bitten by the shopping bug before going to Cherating;)

Unfortunately, luck wasn't on our side. We went to several places, only to find the shops closed. We sought for advice from the friendly staff at The Legend Resort and they recommended us to hop over to the Natural Batik Village which is located about 30 kms from where we stayed. We didn't have much choice as most of the gift and souvenir shops were closed due to Eid celebration.

We managed to find the Natural Batik Village.
I would say that it's definitely worth visiting this place. It's a one-stop shop to get local souvenirs. We were spoilt by the wide range of beautifully designed batik.
What's more amazing about this place is that the visitors are given a chance to experience making their on batik!

My two lil' heroes had a fantastic time there doing batik painting.
Check out these photos:

My lil' heroes are definitely proud of their masterpieces. :)

hi there, cazzycazz & life ramblings. thanx for hopping over. i was amazed with their batik paintings as well knowing that they are just 4 & 6 years old. My elder lil' hero has better patience, but not my younger one. that's why his masterpiece comprises of lots of red and purple colours :D
