I've no idea where this method originated from and how long it had been practised. Whatever it is I'm still truly amazed by how this complexity can be turned into simplicity without the help of any calculation tool.
If you have any extra information about this, I would certainly appreciate them.
p/s: Have fun drawing the lines and counting.
I will certainly introduce this to my little heroes when they are ready for this;)
